Cult Canadian filmmaker, photographer, writer, and artist Bruce LaBruce takes over Purple TV.
“The greatest thing about YouTube is that you can watch your most favorite or your least favorite clips from TV over and over and over and over and over again. Then, when someone makes a compilation of some of your most favorite or least favorite clips from TV, you can watch the compilation of clips over and over and over and over and over again. There’s something about the repetition of opening credit sequences of certain TV shows that becomes mesmerizing, putting your brain into an Alpha state that releases endorphins in your brain pretty much the same way that heroin or opioids do. So, feel free to get high on the credit sequences from two of my favorite TV shows – Better Call Saul and Shelley Duvall’s Faerie Tale Theatre – plus a compilation of all the paintings from the introduction to each episode of another of my favorite shows, Night Gallery.
