PHOTOGRAPHY   The title of this photographic series, “Mariphasa lupine lumina,” comes from a fictional flower in the 1935 horror film Werewolf of London. This flower was said to glow following the moon’s cycle. These photographs of flower arrangements employ multiple exposures, color filters, and old darkroom methods like color solarization. Jessica Eaton reveals and rejuvenates photographic processes that were underexplored in their era, bringing them into the realm of contemporary art.   JESSICA EATON, “MARIPHASA LUPINE LUMINA” AT M+B, LOS ANGELES ALL ARTWORK COPYRIGHT AND COURTESY OF THE ARTIST
