MICHÈLE LAMY — Your path as an artist was not a conventional one. How did you arrive at making art and film?

ARTHUR JAFA — My path was never a straight line. There is no map. And even if there was one, I would burn it because nobody should do it that way. My path really started when a friend called me to replace him on a job as a cinematographer.
