Hajime Sawatari

photography TONY CEDERTEG   For a long time I’ve been in love with the Japanese photographer Hajime Sawatari, who was born in 1940. But I almost never meet people who are familiar with his work or his fantastic books. I own most of his books, but my favorites include Alice (1973), Alice from the Sea (1979), and Hysteric Ten (2004).
