A self-described “sexual anthropologist,” Betony Vernon designed her first jewelry collection in 1992, called “Sado-Chic,” and she has since come to be known for her erotically inspiring works in marble and precious metal. Purple photographed her infamous Boudoir Box — a bespoke erotic toolkit that, until recently, could only be viewed privately — during an intimate rendezvous in her home in Paris.
