Fendi, like the fountains, churches, and beautiful trees, is an integral part of Rome. The house of Silvia Venturini Fendi celebrated its 90th birthday this July with unprecedented magic. Models wearing Karl Lagerfeld’s “Legends and Fairy Tales” Haute Fourrure collection walked a transparent catwalk across the newly restored Trevi Fountain. To celebrate Lagerfeld’s long creative alliance with Fendi, we photographed iconic Italian actress Ornella Mutti at the 18th century botanical garden wearing furs from Fendi’s vast archive of pieces made for films.
