Lisa Eisner’s Garden

After more than 15 years working as a fashion editor, LISA EISNER began a new life as a photographer and discovered a passion for gardening in Los Angeles. Lisa has been collaborating with Art Luna — gardener and hair dresser to the stars — creating a hillside garden at her home in Bel Air.
Nurtured by her travels and her joyful collaboration with Luna, Lisa’s garden has become a sensorium of natural beauty, full of colorful exotic trees, flowers, orchids, ferns, cacti, and even rubber plants and a nest of wild owls. Viewing the naked young women Lisa photographed for Purple in her garden might give us a more complete idea of her luxurious vision of beauty.
