Being a dancer kept Jamie Bochert out of trouble when she was growing up in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Gaunt and sexy, with an endearingly dark-eyed, New York rock-and-roll look reminiscent of Patti Smith, Jamie first walked the runway for Ann Demeulemeester in 2002 and went on to model for the most creative designers — including Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, and Rodarte. Her long-time relationship with the actor and musician Michael Pitt has given Jamie the confidence to pursue a second career in music — playing guitar and piano and singing with Michael in their band Francis Wolf.
