In a bold takeover of the 6,000 m2 of level 2 in the Bibliothèque Publique d’Information marking the end of the exhibition programme at the Centre Pompidou – Tillmans blurs the lines between exhibition and library, creating a living archive of image, sound, and thought.
The retrospective explores over 35 years of his work, across various photographic genres from portraiture, still life, architecture, documentary images and abstraction.
