Victoria, a New York college student from the Mid-West lives in the Financial District of Manhattan. In the summer heat, Victoria was alone, separated from most of her school friends. She worked at a restaurant in the West Village every day to save money and was feeling ennui while in her apartment, imagining herself as a happy girl during a New York summer.
