Six marble doors by the heroic contemporary artist from China Ai Weiwei, a part of the Marble Sculpture from 350 B.C. to Last Week exhibition at the New York art gallery Sperone Westwater. Collection is a perfect mix between the Greek and Romain antiques and modern art-pieces by the ringers like Tom Sachs, Richard Long or Ai Weiwei. The controversial vision of Gian Enzo Sperone, who curated the show, created an unconventional timeline within the marble craft. Show is on view through Februay 25th 2012 at The Sperone Westwater, 257 Bowery, New York. Photo Bill Powers and text by Alexandra Gordienko
