For her first American museum retrospective and the largest exhibition of her work, badass British artist SARAH LUCAS is invading three floors at New York’s New Museum through January 20, 2019. Her show Au Naturel is curated by Edlis Neeson artistic director MASSIMILIANO GIONI and curator MARGOT NORTON.
SARAH LUCAS’ universe is diverse, gigantic and provocative — more than 150 works of sculptures, photographs, videos, and installations — and strolling through the different levels of the white building on Bowery, you will never get bored. A self-proclaimed feminist artist Lady LUCAS has won a battle: she’s not a woman artist, but simply an artist.
“Au Naturel” is on view until January 20, 2019 at New Museum, 235 Bowery New York, NY.
