Imagine to walk through the incredible lands of Western Nagev at night and be able to see its thousands of Anemones blossom through the darkness. That’s what Rafael Y. Herman did with his camera, using the artist’s own method of nocturnal photography. He illuminated the night and captured the unseen behind the Forest of Galilee, the fields of the Judaean Mountains, and the Mediterranean Sea.
The poetic exhibition takes the form of a large environmental installation, curated by Stefano Rabolli and Giorgia Calo.
On view until March 26th, at MACRO Testaccio, Piazza Orazio Giustiniani 4, Rome.
