Petra Collins curates a group exhibition that aims to create a new landscape, a Gynolandscape, which rejects the classic phallocentric narrative of sex and sexuality of the female body. Gynolandscape questions our current Western ideology of “femininity” and demonstrates how a new generation of female artists are paving the way to a more fluid future. The works in this show are produced by female artists from diverse backgrounds ranging in ages 16-50 that illustrate their struggle with identity and sexuality in the context of femininity.
