Object_ify 139 “Burn your Idols” exhibition at the Ace Hotel, New York
For “Burn Your Idols”, Object_ify 139 has asked a dozen artists to each select one object, an idol, to be cast in wax for use as a candle. Object_ify 139 owner and exhibition curator Maria Candanoza explains, “The things we hold in highest regard can hold us back. Burn Your Idols is meant to honor and destroy these very things.”
