My favorite place in Los Angeles right now is Caulfield’s in Beverly Hills. It’s named after J.D Salinger‘s hero from the Catcher in the Rye and features a mural of the Hollywood Ten: a group of actors, screenwriters, producers and directors that were blacklisted in Hollywood during the 1950s.
