Jim Lee’s latest solo exhibition at Nicelle Beauchene tracks the evolution of material. The beautiful and well-conceived show suggests the fluidity between sculpture, painting, idea and form. The creative play on support and structure is a strong point in Lee’s work and unifies the various media in the show. Please Be Clean When You Do It is on view through March 31st 2013 at Nicelle Beauchene, 327 Broome Street, New York. Photo and text Juliana Balestin
