The former graffiti artist Ian Tweedy’s first solo exhibition in the United States offers a cinematic group of works deeply rooted in the painterly tradition. Tweedy’s fragmented images reveal his ability to mainpulate depth and space while his activation of the frames works well to enhance the mystery of the narrative. A Long Story is on view through February 26th 2012 at Untitled, 30 Orchard Street, New York. Photo and text Juliana Balestin
