Sonnabend presents three installations by artist Barry La Va dating from the late 1960s. The remarkable works display the range of La Va’s Post-Minimalist tendencies. The artist activates the floor as a site for contemplation and destruction. La Va focuses on void content and places a high value on the action of splatters, layers and distribution of materials. On view at Sonnabend, 536 West 22nd Street, New York. Photo and text Juliana Balestin
