Last weekend, Jean-Pierre Blanc hosted the 39th edition of the Hyères Festival at Villa Noailles. With Nicolas Di Felice leading this year’s jury, the event embraced a raw, distorted aesthetic, emphasizing “craftsmanship, clarity, and sincerity.”
Israeli designer Dolev Elron won the Fashion Prize for his Casual Turbulence collection, where he pushed the boundaries of technical craftsmanship and deconstructed denim.
In accessories, Chiyang Duan took home the prize for innovative ski masks and functional designs, while Clara Besnard captivated with her sculptural leather scarf and eyewear.
The Photography Prize was awarded to Arhant Shrestha from Nepal, whose evocative storytelling through images brought a raw, emotional beauty to the spotlight.
